We have a brilliant opportunity for a

Group Head of Procurement

to join Olympic Entertainment Group, based in Tallinn HQ.



Role Overview:

The Group Head of Procurement will be responsible for leading the sourcing effort, identifying potential suppliers and conducting negotiations on high-value or strategic categories.


He/she leads all group procurement efforts. The Group Head of Procurement reports to the COO and is responsible for managing all spending, regardless of the nature of the operating/influence model being used (i.e., who performs the strategy vs. execution of sourcing, buying, paying and managing of suppliers).


He/she is responsible for leading all group procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable spend owners such as business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives. He/she will work with each business unit to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. This will include working with the internal stakeholder from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.


Key Responsibilities:

From Purchase/Procurement role perspective:

  • Establishes and implements strategy and procedures for procuring materials and services that deliver savings and higher value for the businesses.
  • Consolidates major purchases to secure the best possible pricing by leverage.
  • Negotiates long-term contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply.
  • Maintains relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure good, reliable sources of supply and information.
  • Ensures thorough and complete purchase and inventory records to provide an accurate accounting of all purchased goods and services.
  • Budget management for categories under management – and for procurement itself.
  • Processes to conclusion all disputed purchases of goods and services for the protection of the company and with fairness to the supplier.
  • Prepares, develops and keeps a record of all documents, contracts, etc. within the scope of his/her field of responsibilities.


From Supply Chain and logistics role perspective:

  • Working within corporate strategies and policy frameworks, designs, proposes and implements logistic and supply chain strategies, guidelines, and procedures within broad principles and policies set by the organization to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.
  • Oversees the purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors all logistics management activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience from medium to large organization.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other relevant area
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Experience with leveraged agreements and multi-year contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen along with solid operational management and general business skills and savvy.
  • Strategical mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good command of Estonian and English language in speaking and writing.
