As Financial Analyst in the Group Finance team, you will be working directly with the Group Finance Manager and will be responsible for compilation of management reports, carrying out analyses as well as preparing investor materials. Additionally, you will have an active role in budgeting planning and review process.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Management Reporting

You will be responsible for timely and accurate compilation of various management reports within the group. In addition to the Group Finance team, that involves cooperating with country teams to ensure the accuracy of data and to have sufficient commentary where needed.

You should be looking at opportunities to improve and simplify the reports, while ensuring adequate and consistent level of information availability.

Investment Analysis

Reviewing and compiling financial models for investment project proposals (for example for refurbishment or opening of casinos).

Budgeting

Assisting country teams with budgeting. Reviewing budget proposals to ensure their accuracy and completeness. Preparing budget summaries for discussion with Group management and finance team.

Investor Reporting

Compiling quarterly investor presentations on a quarterly basis.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

A strong candidate should be technically skilled in finance, highly analytical and a strong communicator.

  • Previous experience as a Financial Analyst;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and control teams;
  • Ability to communicate all analyses, findings, conclusions, and recommendations to relevant business, operating and finance constituents in the group;
  • Knowledge of various valuation methods, including but not limited to DCF valuations will be a great asset;
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite, specially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related topics;
  • Fluency in English

  • Must possess very strong interpersonal, communication and consensus building skills; willing to work on developing and managing key relationships across the organization.
  • Must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognise standards required by a regulated business.
